Up first was a new trailer and poster for “Hocus Pocus 2” (see below), as that sequel will debut September 30 on Disney+.

Here is the pic’s synopsis via Disney:

It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.

The Justin Simien-directed “Haunted Mansion” remake has officially added Jared Leto, who is playing the iconic Hatbox Ghost, and Jamie Lee Curtis will play Madame Leota. Additionally, Winona Ryder and Dan Levy have taken roles too. They will join previously announced ensemble cast members Rosario Dawson, Lakeith Stanfield, Owen Wilson, Tiffany Haddish, and Danny DeVito. “Haunted Mansion” is set to hit theaters on March 10, 2023.

Follwing that presentation, Disney revealed a quick look at David Lowery‘s “Peter Pan & Wendy” starring Jude Law as Capitan Hook. The studio revealed a new poster and the revelation that it will be arriving on Disney+ next year, surely a disappointment for those that would want to see a big Lowery epic on the big screen (hopefully, there will be some kind of theatrical release).

As mentioned, director Barry Jenkins‘ “Lion King” prequel is officially titled “Mufasa: The Lion King,” and the official title treatment was presented along with the news that the film will arrive in theaters in 2024.

The live-action “Snow White” movie starring Rachel Zegler (“West Side Story“) and Gal Gadot (“Wonder Woman“) is now coming to theaters in 2024. Disney also released the film’s title treatment card.

Stay tuned, as tomorrow Disney will showcase panels from Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm tomorrow, focusing on their film and streaming series lineups. Surely, we’ll some kind of casting or new title announcements.
