“Dinner With Audrey” explores the true-life 40-year friendship/collaboration between Hepburn and de Givenchy over some pivotal years. Their collaboration sparked over the course of one magical, fashion-filled night in Paris, France, as that dinner would lead their friendship and decades-long working relationship as well.

That partnership saw Givenchy work as the head of Hepburn’s wardrobe on many classic films such as “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” “Funny Face,” “How to Steal a Million,” “Charade,” and “Sabrina.” Hepburn even wore Givenchy in 1954 when she won the Best Actress Oscar for “Roman Holiday.”

Producing the biopic will be Ashok Armitraj and Priya Amritraj of Hyde Park, alongside Andrew Lazar from Mad Chance and Andrew Calof from Wayfarer. Holden, the film’s screenwriter, will executive produce with Wayfarer is co-financing the film. Also, the report mentions that Carl Clifton of Hyde Park will introduce the tantalizing package to distributors at this year’s American Film Market, happening next week.

The New Zealand-born actress first made her way to Hollywood with a small part in Peter Jackson‘s “The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies” before etching out her own path with roles in projects such as Edgar Wright‘s “Last Night In Soho,” “Old,” “The King,” the WWII dramedy “Jobo Rabbit,” the Western thriller “Power of the Dog,” and most recently with the buzzy religious drama “The Testament of Ann Lee” coming to theaters on Christmas via Searchlight Pictures.
