‘Regretting You’ Trailer: Mckenna Grace & Mason Thames Play A Couple In Paramount’s Romantic Dramedy Hitting Theaters October 24

A new trailer for Paramount Pictures‘ “Regretting You” has been sent our way to share as the romantic dramedy boasts an impressive cast that features Allison Williams, Mckenna Grace, Dave Franco, Mason Thames, Sam Morelos, Scott Eastwood, Willa Fitzgerald, and Clancy Brown.

Josh Boone directs the romantic comedy from a script adapted from the Colleen Hoover (“It Ends With Us”) novel by Susan McMartin. You might remember Boone was previously behind the romantic drama “The Fault In Our Stars” and dabbled in the world of Marvel Comics with the pre-merger “X-Men” universe spinoff film, “The New Mutants.”

An official logline for the flick from Paramount:

Based on the bestselling book, “Regretting You” introduces audiences to Morgan Grant (Williams) and her daughter, Clara (Grace), as they explore what’s left behind after a devastating accident reveals a shocking betrayal and forces them to confront family secrets, redefine love, and rediscover each other. A story of growth, resilience, and self-discovery in the aftermath of tragedy.

The producing team consists of Brunson Green, Anna Todd, Flavia Viotti, and Robert Kulzer, alongside executive producers such as Oliver Berben, Colleen Hoover, Williams, Grace, Franco, Jon D. Wagner, Emily Magee, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, Andrew Lary, Michael Rothstein, Samuel Hall, and Warren Goz.

Thames was most recently seen in the hit live-action version of “How To Train Your Dragon,” with “The Black Phone 2” releasing on October 17. Meanwhile, Grace had a prominent role in the last two “Ghostbusters” legacy sequels at Sony Pictures, will appear in slasher sequel “Scream 7,” joined the “Hunger Games” franchise with a key part in the prequel “Sunrise On The Reaping,” and has the sibling thriller, “What We Hide,” coming soon.
