An official synopsis for the upcoming streaming film, courtesy of Prime Video:
“The Map That Leads to You” follows Heather (Cline), a young woman setting off on an adventure across Europe with her best friends before settling into her perfectly planned life. When she crosses paths with Jack (Apa), a magnetic and mysterious stranger, their instant spark ignites an emotional journey neither of them expected. As their connection deepens, secrets, life choices, and hidden truths will test their bond—and change her life in ways she never imagined.
Of course, the veteran Swedish filmmaker is no stranger to the romance genre, with previous efforts such as “Something To Talk About,” “Chocolat,” “Dear John,” “Safe Haven,” “Salmon Fishing In The Yemen,” “Casanova,” and “The Shipping News” under his belt.
Cline has been on the rise with previous roles in “Stranger Things,” Rian Johnson’s whodunnit “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” “Outer Banks,” HBO’s “Vice Principals,” is a featured player in the legacy horror sequel “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” and also appears opposite Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz in Marc Webb’s upcoming “Day Drinker.”
