‘Trap House’ Trailer: Dave Bautista Plays A DEA Agent Facing The Wrath Of Cartels In Texas-Set Thriller Arriving November 14

It’s the DEA versus a ruthless drug cartel in the upcoming Texas-set action thriller “Trap House,” and we just landed a first-look trailer for the pic hailing from director Michael Dowse with a script penned by Gary Scott Thompson and Tom O’Connor.

“Trap House” also features a solid cast led by Dave Bautista (“Army of The Dead,” “Dune”) with Jack Champion (Spider from “Avatar: The Way of Water”), Sophia Lillis (“IT”), Tony Dalton (“Better Call Saul”), Bobby Cannavale (“The Irishman”), Whitney Peak (“The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping”), and Kate Del Castillo (“Bad Boys for Life”) set for supporting roles.

The film’s official synopsis via Aura Entertainment:

In El Paso, Texas, an undercover DEA agent and his partner embark on a game of cat and mouse with an audacious group of thieves: their own rebellious teenagers.

Dowse, who worked with Bautista on the film the two-hander “Stuber,” comes from the world of comedy with credits such as “It’s All Gone Pete Tong,” “8-Bit Christmas,” the “FUBAR” movies, and the raunchy hockey comedy “Goon.” Taking a more serious turn with his material is quite the switch-up for the Canadian filmmaker, and we can’t wait to see those results.

You can watch that new trailer below as “Trap House” hits theaters on November 14.
