‘The Drama’ Trailer: Zendaya & Robert Pattinson Lead A24 & Kristoffer Borgli’s Wedding Pic Coming To Theaters In April

A24 and writer/director Kristoffer Borgli have teamed for the new wedding film “The Drama,” as Zendaya and Robert Pattinson lead the cast, with others appearing, such as Alana Haim, Mamoudou Athie, and Hailey Benton Gates.

The studio has dropped a new trailer for the pic arriving in early April, and showcases new footage, giving audiences a better look at the movie, featuring a young, attractive couple who are getting married and events leading up to their wedding day. Borgli, of course, is coming off the success of the Nicolas Cage film “Dream Scenario.”

A24 has provided the brief logline for the upcoming pic:

A happily engaged couple is put to the test when an unexpected turn sends their wedding week off the rails.

Interestingly enough, Zendaya and Pattinson are also going to be seen in Denis Villeneuve‘s “Dune: Part Three” as the latter is going to be playing a deadly villain in the final outing from the French-Canadian director coming out in December (may end up moving out of the way of “Avengers: Doomsday“). They’re also part of the ensemble of Christopher Nolan‘s Greek fantasy epic “The Odyssey,” coming out this summer.

We’ll also be seeing Zendaya on the small screen in the third season of HBO‘s “Euphoria” and Destin Daniel Cretton‘s “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” While Pattinson is gearing up to shoot Matt Reeves‘ “The Batman Part II” this spring, it was reported that Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan will be joining the main cast of the highly anticipated DC sequel.
