“Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice” is the latest genre-bending offering from 20th Century Studios, as the original pic hails from writer/director BenDavid Grabinski with an impressive cast that features Vince Vaughn (“Freaky,” “Bad Monkey”), James Marsden (“Avengers: Doomsday,” “Sonic The Hedgehog”), Eiza González (“Ambulance”), Keith David (“The Lowdown”), Jimmy Tatro (“Scream 7”), Stephen Root (“Barry”), Lewis Tan (“Deadpool 2,” “Mortal Kombat”), Ben Schwartz (“Sonic The Hedgehog” trilogy), Emily Hampshire (“Schitt’s Creek”), and Arturo Castro (“Road House”).
A trailer has made its way to us as the movie is aiming to make its premiere later this month exclusively on Disney‘s streaming services.

In the pic, Vaughn plays two versions of the character Nick, as time-travel is part of the crime action comedy. The actor is mostly known for his comedic chops, but is able to muster action roles, time-to-time as well. It feels like, after projects such as “Sinners” and “Mickey 17,” we might end up seeing more narrative reasons for actors to play multiple roles in a single story.

The film is a hilarious, stylized, R-rated action-comedy about two gangsters and the woman they love trying to survive the most dangerous night of their lives. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s one wild ingredient added to the mix: a time machine.
You may remember that Grabinski worked on the “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” series revival and teamed with Edgar Wright on the short-lived animated Netflix project “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off.“
