‘The Pitt’ Season 2 Trailer: HBO Max’s Pittsburgh-Set ER Drama Led By Emmy-Winner Noah Wyle Returns January 8

Audiences that fell in love with the tense Pittsburgh emergency room medical drama “The Pitt” won’t have to wait too much longer for the next batch of episodes, as season two is set to debut next month, and that has led to a new trailer arriving online from HBO Max.

Recent Emmy-winner Noah Wyle (formerly of “E.R.”) stars as the hospital’s patriarchal, Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, with others among the cast featuring Patrick Ball as Dr. Langdon, Katherine LaNasa as Dana Evans, Supriya Ganesh as Dr. Mohan, Fiona Dourif as Dr. McKay, Taylor Dearden as Dr. King, Isa Briones as Dr. Santos, Gerran Howell as Whitaker, Shabana Azeez as Javadi, and Sepideh Moafi as Dr. Al-Hashimi.

Wyle wasn’t the only acting Emmy winner, as LaNasa won for Supporting Actress and Shawn Hatosy earned a statue for Guest Actor. The show’s first season also nabbed Emmy wins for Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Casting, a total of five wins after receiving an impressive thirteen nominations.
