‘Dracula’ Trailer: Luc Besson Tackles Vampires In Horror Pic Starring Caleb Landry Jones & Christoph Waltz Arriving February 6

Writer/director Luc Besson (“Dogman,” “Anna”) is behind a new “Dracula” movie (the more the merrier, right?) with a cast that features Caleb Landry Jones, Christoph Waltz (who was just seen in Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein”), Zoë Bleu, Guillaume de Tonquedec, Matilda de Angelis, Ewens Abid, and Raphael Luce.

We’ve been sent a trailer for the new movie to share, showcasing what audiences can expect from the horror flick arriving in February.

An official logline for the film, courtesy of distributor Vertical:

When a 15th-century prince (Caleb Landry Jones) witnesses the brutal murder of his wife (Zoë Bleu), he renounces God and damns heaven itself. Cursed with eternal life, he is reborn as Dracula, an immortal warlord who defies fate in a blood-soaked crusade to wrench his lost love back from death, no matter the cost. On the verge of reuniting, Dracula is hunted by a relentless priest (Christoph Waltz), sworn to end his immortal reign.

For decades, the French filmmaker has been the face of European genre films with a solid grouping of projects over the years that he helmed, co-wrote, or simply helped usher into theaters as a producer, such as “Leon: The Professional,” “La Femme Nikita,” the “Taken” movies starring Liam Neeson in what pretty much launched his action star carrer, Jason Statham‘s “Transporter” franchise, the Jet Li-led “Unleashed,” Scarlett Johansson‘s “Lucy,” and sci-fi epic “The Fifth Element” starring his future ex-wife Mila Jovovich and Bruce Willis.
