‘Love Of Your Life’: Patrick Schwarzenegger To Star Alongside Margaret Qualley In Romantic Drama From Rachel Morrison

Actor Patrick Schwarzenegger, son of action star Arnold Schwarzenegger, had a bit of a moment thanks to landing a key role in the latest season of Mike White‘s extremely popular HBO series “The White Lotus” and has secured a solid feature film with Amazon MGM Studios‘ “Love of Your Life.”

This nifty casting news hails from The Hollywood Reporter, who revealed Schwarzenegger will be co-starring with Margaret Qualley (“The Substance,” “Honey, Don’t!”), which is being directed by Rachel Morrison.

In “Love of Your Life,” Qualley is said to be playing a young woman who loses her husband and goes on a journey to find a way forward in her life, as Schwarzenegger will play an old friend and former flame of Qualley’s unnamed character. The romantic drama was penned by Julia Cox, who previously worked on projects like “Nyad,” “The Last Tycoon,” and “Recovery Road.”

Morrison has been mostly known for her work as a director of photography on movies such as the billion-dollar hit “Black Panther,” “Seberg,” “Mudbound,” “Dope,” and “Fruitvale Station” before pivoting to helming features with the boxing drama “The Fire Inside.”

Qualley has been shooting Ridley Scott‘s upcoming sci-fi flick “The Dog Stars” and her new dark comedy film from director Ethan Coen, “Honey, Don’t!,” is set to release in August. Other credits for Schwarzenegger in the past include “The Staircase,” Prime Video’s military thriller “The Terminal List,” and their “The Boys” spinoff series, “Gen V.”
