‘Reminders Of Him’ Trailer: Maika Monroe & Tyriq Withers Lead Wyoming Romantic Drama Hitting Theaters On March 13

Reminders of Him” is a new romantic drama directed by Vanessa Caswill (“Love At First Sight”) coming next year starring Maika Monroe (“The Hand That Rocks The Cradle,” “Longlegs”) and Tyriq Withers (“HIM”) that is based on the novel by the author Colleen Hoover, who co-wrote the script with Lauren Levine and previously saw her work adapted for the domestic abuse drama “It Ends With Us” (allegations against director/co-star Justin Baldoni from Blake Lively led to legal drama and wacky out-of-control tabloid coverage).

Universal Pictures is releasing the pic in March and has shared with us a brand new trailer, as we see Monroe playing an ex-con trying to rebuild her life with her young daughter as she discovers a secret love with a local played by Withers in her Wyoming hometown, as things, as you’d expect, get dramatic and complicated.

Others featured in the cast of “Reminders of Him” include Lauren Graham (“Gilmore Girls,” “Bad Santa”) and Bradley Whitford (“Get Out,” “The Handmaid’s Tale”) as Diem’s grandparents, Grace and Patrick; Rudy Pankow (“Outer Banks,” “Uncharted”) as Scotty, Diem’s father; and Lainey Wilson (“Yellowstone”) as Kenna’s friend and coworker, Amy, Jennifer Robertson (“Schitt’s Creek”) as Kenna’s landlord; Zoe Kosovic (“The Smashing Machine”) as Kenna’s daughter; Hilary Jardine (“Holidazed”) and Nicholas Duvernay (“The White Lotus”) as Ledger’s bar team; and, in her screen debut, Monika Myers as Kenna’s neighbor, Lady Diana.

The film’s official logline, as provided by Universal:

After a perfect outing with her boyfriend, Kenna (Monroe) makes an unbearable mistake that sends her to prison. Seven years later, Kenna returns to her hometown in Wyoming, hoping to rebuild her life and earn the chance to reunite with her young daughter, Diem, whom she has never known. When Diem’s custodial grandparents adamantly refuse Kenna’s attempts to see her daughter, Kenna discovers unexpected compassion, and then something truer and deeper, with former NFL player and local bar owner Ledger (Withers). As their secret romance develops, so do the dangers for both of them, leading Kenna toward heartbreak and, ultimately, the hope for a second chance.
