‘Love Of Your Life’: Aaron Pierre Joins Margaret Qualley & Patrick Schwarzenegger In Romantic Drama

Another actor on the rise has joined Margaret Qualley (“The Substance”) in director Rachel Morrison‘s upcoming romantic drama “Love of Your Life,” which is at Amazon MGM Studios after securing the project from a heated bidding war.

According to Deadline, British actor Aaron Pierre has nabbed an undisclosed role alongside Qualley and Patrick Schwarzenegger (“The White Lotus”), which is expected to shoot this August in various locations in Europe.

Previous reports on the film included minor character/plot details, which pointed out that Qualley is playing a young woman who loses her husband and goes on a journey to find a way forward in her life, and Schwarzenegger will play an old friend and former flame of Qualley’s mysterious character.

Julia Cox penned the script for “Love of Your Life” with Ryan Gosling and Jessie Henderson producing from their production banner, Open Invite Entertainment.

Qualley was most recently seen in “The Substance,” “Honey Dont!,” the actress is also currently shooting Ridley Scott‘s sci-fi flick “The Dog Stars,” and will be appearing in the Adam Sandler comedy “Happy Gilmore 2” this summer.

Pierre is coming off the excellent Netflix rural corrupt cop actioner “Rebel Ridge” from writer/director Jeremy Saulnier, voicing Mufasa in Barry Jenkins’ “Mufasa: The Lion King” for Disney, and stars alongside in HBO‘s new superhero series “Lanterns” (Pierre’s John Stewart expected to be part of the DCU with his version of Green Lantern crossing over into the feature films).

It’s unclear from Deadline’s write-up on the casting news who Pierre is playing for the moment, but that will likely be cleared up down the line. We shouldn’t be all that shocked if there are more high-profile casting additions to “Love of Your Life” as filming is gearing up.
