Another big selling point for the latest season is that we’ll see Samuel L. Jackson appear as Russell Lee Washington Jr. before moving from Tulsa to New Orleans as the lead in the recently greenlit spinoff, “NOLA King.”

Paramount+ provided the following logline for Season 3 of “Tulsa King”:

In Season Three, as Dwight’s empire expands, so do his enemies – and the risks to his crew. Now, he faces his most dangerous adversaries in Tulsa yet: the Dunmires, a powerful old-money family that doesn’t play by old-world rules, forcing Dwight to fight for everything he’s built and protect his family.

Produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, the show is executive produced by a team that includes Sheridan, Stallone, Dave Erickson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Jim McKay, Sheri Elwood, Ildy Modrovich, and Keith Cox. Erickson also serves as showrunner on “Tulsa King,” and is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

Sheridan’s massive TV empire at Paramount (starting rival Dick Wolf) features other titles such as “Yellowstone,” the aforementioned “NOLA King,” “Y: Marshals,” “The Dutton Ranch,” “Mayor of Kingstown,” “Landman,” “1923,” “1883,” “Lioness,” “Lawmen: Bass Reeves,” “The Madison,” and reality series “The Last Cowboy.”
